After an important meeting, memory is rarely a reliable record. One team needs a concise account of decisions and actions; another needs detailed minutes or a transcript. We first define the document you actually need.
Three different deliverables
Minutes summarise topics, decisions and next steps. A detailed record follows the discussion more closely. A transcript captures what was said, with agreed rules for speaker labels, timestamps and unclear passages. If translation is also needed, we agree the source and delivery languages.
- Decision and action summary
- Minutes of a meeting or workshop
- Transcript of a recording at the agreed level of detail
- Bilingual editing or translation of the minutes, if required
How the work is arranged
Please provide the agenda and any previous minutes you want followed. For work from a recording, sound quality, the number of speakers and authorisation to record and process the material matter. For a live meeting, we agree who takes notes, who checks facts and who approves the final version. Interpreting and making a complete record are planned as separate tasks.
Quotation and confidentiality
The quote and deadline depend on duration, recording quality, number of speakers, languages and the level of editing. This service is agreed separately alongside interpreting or as a standalone assignment. We agree a suitable channel before exchanging confidential material.
